Hyundai Assurance Program Extended Through 2010

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California — Hyundai Motor America has announced that it will continue its popular Assurance program through 2010. The program, which allows new-vehicle buyers to return their vehicle without penalty under some conditions if they lose their job, started in early 2009. Hyundai Assurance will be expanded to include 24-hour roadside assistance and transferable five-year, 60,000-mile "America's Best Warranty" coverage.

The vehicle return program is a standard, no-cost item for the first 12 months of the start of financing or leasing of any new Hyundai vehicle. The roadside assistance program is good for five years and includes flat-tire changing, dead battery jump-starting aid and towing for inoperable vehicles including those involved in accidents.

Hyundai says its U.S. sales were up 6.2 percent for the calendar year through November and credits the consumer protection features with helping make that possible.

I wold never consider a Hyundai, or any other Korean brand, anyway.  So who cares.  I think Hyundai's are throw-away cars for cheap trailer trash.

Nice they're extending the return program, but the warranty and roadside assistance were already there, just not called part of Hyundai Assistance.
