Not many tuners have had a chance to get their hands on the new Hyundai model, but the Korean automaker did invite more than 20 aftermarket companies at the end of last month to measure the car to help them prepare for SEMA.
Two Genesis vehicles were featured at the show — one white, one black — and both got the expected DUB treatment of huge wheels and a powerful sound system in the trunk. The chrome trim on the front and rear bumpers, door handles and mirrors blends well with the chrome and white wheels on the white Genesis. Three amps help the three subs seriously bump, regardless of what kind of music is being played.
The interior is clad in white and black upholstery, including luxurious argyle-esque seats that are definitely the main event of the interior.
What this means to you: Plan on seeing more elaborate tuner interpretations of the Genesis as SEMA nears. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
