- 2012 Hyundai Azera: The Hyundai Azera, which is sold as the Grandeur in its native South Korea, was spotted making the routine testing rounds recently. We expect a direct-injection 3.3-liter V6 to power the big, front-wheel drive sedan with pricing to be around the high $20,000 to low $30,000 range.
Hyundai Elantra Touring
- 2013 Hyundai Elantra Touring: When the 2012 Hyundai Elantra was released, there was one notable exception: the Elantra Touring hatchback. While details are sketchy, the release of the i30 overseas could lead to the return of the Elantra Touring. The European car comes with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine while the US version could come with the 1.8-liter currently found in the Elantra sedan.
Hyundai Equus
- 2012 Hyundai Equus: Although it just entered the U.S. market, the Equus is expected to get an engine and transmission upgrade for 2012. A new 5.0-liter version of its Tau V8 will develop over 400 horsepower and use an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe
- 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: An all-new model in 2010, the Genesis coupe will only get minor upgrades until a midcycle refresh comes along sometime in 2012 or 2013.
Hyundai Santa Fe
- 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe: After a face-lift in 2010, the Santa Fe will undergo a full redesign in mid-2012.
Hyundai Sonata
- 2013 Hyundai Sonata: With a full redesign just hitting the streets, expect to see a midcycle refresh of the Sonata sedan for the 2013 model year.
Hyundai Sonata Wagon
- 2013 Hyundai Sonata Wagon: The rumors of a US-bound Sonata Wagon continue to swirl about ever since a spy shot was taken on our shores. Truth be told, Hyundai hasn't given any word that it will actually be sold here but if it does, it will have either the 2.0-liter or the sedan's 2.4.
Hyundai Tucson
- 2013 Hyundai Tucson: After a full redesign in 2010, don't expect to see many updates on the Tucson until the 2013 model year. .
Hyundai Veloster
- 2012 Hyundai Veloster : This new entry-level sport coupe is expected to arrive in mid-2011. Officially unveiled at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, the Veloster will have Hyundai's new 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with direct injection and roughly 140 hp will power the front wheels. The production model retains the unique three-door configuration that was shown on the prototypes and spy photos. Recently we got a ride in the 2012 Hyundai Veloster with Hyundai's CEO behind the wheel and official pricing was announced.
Hyundai Veracruz
- 2013 Hyundai Veracruz: This three-row crossover may be discontinued in favor of an all-new, more luxurious crossover with a new name. .

I can back mymaxima up with the article for being literate in Korean..
Says to include 5.0 Tau Engine with 8-speed automatic transmission for the following vehicles in American Market:
Equus 4.6 -> 5.0
Genesis 3.8, 4.6 -> 5.0
Genesis Coupe 2.0T, 3.8, +5.0
(Vehicles with all available powerplants for North America market)
Engine will arrive as early as next spring in Equus to replace the older 4.6L engine and will have 10% improved fuel economy with 429HP (no mentioning on torque). Also, those three vehicles will be managed by "luxury segment" manager to differentiate into premium brand market and plans to be displayed in a different showroom with a possibility of a luxury brand forming.

The article appears to contain several errors...
That is what happens when you leave interns unsupervised.

@thatguyuknow & @lexuslvr
At least, I read the article in Korean news paper. 5.0L V8 with 8-speed automatic transmission in Equus, Genesis sedan, and Genesis Coupe. New parking assistance system for sedans and 4WD in all three models from next generation (next model change?). Following is a link to the article. Need to be able to read Korean, though. ;-)

Hyundai confirmed 5.0L V8 Genesis Coupe in 2011. We'll see how it competes with Mustang and Camaro V8's.

So it is goodbye to the Azera, I guess. It was the red-headed step child once the Genesis hit the road and when the new Sonata came out.
Hyundai should come out with a new minivan to compete with the WAAAAAAAAY expensive Odysseys ans Siennas out there. Families on a budget who do not want or trust a Town and Country need something more affordable. We love our 2008 Kia Sedona but I am not even sure that model will continue. And I am sure the new Quest will be up there in price too. :(

Hyundai is in-deed moving in the right direction. Let's hope they stay in that direction. I'm really liking the look of that Elantra.

Maybe I'm blind (very possible) but where in this article does it state that the Veloster is RWD? All I've seen is either "front wheel drive" or "power the front wheels".

LOL
Does Edmunds even read their articles before publishing them?
The new Hyundai Veloster is FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, not REAR WHEEL DRIVE.
