LAS VEGAS — Hyundai will make a splash at the 2010 SEMA Show next month thanks to a collaboration with Rhys Millen Racing. Millen has created an RMR Signature Edition of the Hyundai Equus sedan that will be unveiled at the show.

The rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan will get a 30-horsepower boost thanks to an RMR air intake and stainless exhaust, bringing total power from the Hyundai V8 to 415 hp.

Exterior changes to the Equus include front chin and rear deck spoilers, carbon mirrors and a two-tone carbon fiber and "Red Bull Racing blue" paint job, plus 21-inch HRE wheels.

Inside, there's a set of ostrich hide leather seats with suede accents, along with RMR Signature Edition stitching on the headrests and floor mats.

Hyundai's affiliation with Rhys Millen Racing includes the Formula Drift series, in which Millen drives a Hyundai Genesis Coupe, and his participation in the second and third rounds of the U.S. Rallycross Championship in a Hyundai WRC rally car. Millen won the Time Attack 2WD class at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2009 in a carbon-bodied Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

Inside Line says: This one will be displayed at the SEMA show alongside an unlimited-class Genesis PM580, also from Millen. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
