This is a good effort for a Korean luxury car but it won't cut it stateside. The exterior styling is just...OK. I'd like to see some of the style Hyundai is flushing into its Sonata higher up on the food chain. This looks too "me to" for my tastes.

wow this is such a rip off on a MAYBACH i dont know why u would want a rip off for this is a maybach type styling and the genesis is also a rip off of a mercedes benz s-class i perfer to have a car that has its own unique styling unlike hyundai n kia who relies basically mercedes benz look alike cars this is why i perfer ford gm or dodge cause they have unique styling to them now the japs were copying the americans for a long time till they finally came up with a design of thier own but will never buy a jap cause those cars just plain suck with quality and rustproofing

If I can afford to lease this thing for two years, I will. The fact that Hyundai is so in your face about their goals, pleases me. I also like the fact that, unlike Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, the cars they sell in America, are the cars they sell in their home market. They are taking on three of the best cars the world has to offer, in any class, and I am sure they will top them. This could be the best car built, anywhere.
The Genesis sedans are fine machines, and well worth the forty or so grand. I would gladly pay fifty for a car that is competeing with 100k plus sedans

I just took delivery of my 2010 genesis v8 with tech package I leased it for 3 years,,When the lease is up I think I will get a equus it is a beautiful car..Iam also in a 07 bmw 7 series and this car seems to offer all the luxury goodies for alot less dough for which Iam getting to the point why pay more just because it says bmw on the trunk lid,,How ever there is a few annoying things about the genesis that bugs me,,Like the navigation does not pronounce street names and the upgraded lexicon audio system is weak and the surround is not to surround,,Where is the 528 watts of power ? I dont hear it,,And one more thing the gauges look cheap,,Very sonata like,,That being said with all those ironed out and a few more ponnies added to the engine I will be proud to own a equus,,,The looks of the car is pretty classy
