The automaker said its first minivan would be priced starting at $24,000, including destination, and go on sale later this year.
All trim levels will include standard electronic stability control, anti-whiplash front head restraints, and six airbags. Front and rear disc brakes are standard, along with antilock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
The Entourage is powered by an all-aluminum 3.8-liter DOHC V6 that produces 242 horsepower and 251 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
Options include power-sliding doors, a center tray table, a rear-seat entertainment system with an 8-inch LCD monitor, and back-up warning sensors. The minivan is covered by Hyundai's 10-year/100,000-mile warranty.
What this means to you: Hyundai is positioning the Entourage as a Honda Odyssey fighter at a lower price.
