LOS ANGELES — Hyundai will unveil its 2011 Elantra today, November 18 at 9:55 a.m. PDT at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.
As we did in with the 2011 Sonata 2.0T and Sonata Hybrid in October, Inside Line will be offering our readers a chance to watch the presentation live via Webcast on IL.
Hyundai revealed the new Elantra earlier this year for its Korean market, sold under the name Avante. And in early October, spy photographers caught the U.S. version of the 2011 Elantra during hot weather testing in Death Valley, California.
Inside Line says: It's already known that the Elantra will be built in Alabama. Expect the final details to be revealed at Hyundai's L.A. show press conference this morning. — Kelly Toepke, News Editor

got em. 95.6 elantra, but total with trunk is elantra 110.4 to the maxima's 110.0. that must be what they were refering to.
it is crazy that auto and mani get the same mpgs.

I think they'll release the Veloster in Detroit
That won't be as attractive
The Accent is coming next year as well.
But Accent isn't here to be "fun to drive"

This guy is the antithesis of excitement. Worst line so far...
"How did we do it? We change everything." Guh, rough to watch/listen.

very nice looking automobile. have an 08 accent hatch that i was planning to keep forever, and hyundai keeps upping the ante. i now probably have to buy the next gen accent 5dr hatch, that'll get 8-10 miles better per gallon. f-ing hyundai : )

Pretty sweet ride
Actually a midsize, by EPA volume.
Low rear seat legroom, by dimension, but looks sufficient in pictures.
Headlights actually reach the base of the windshield
Nissan should be very worried!
Especially if you compare a Sentra
It'll be 5-10 years before Toyota/Honda need to sweat
