    0 Ratings
MONTREAL — Hyundai Canada has pulled the wraps off the 2009 Elantra Touring, a near-clone of the i30 wagon that the Korean automaker markets in Europe. The Elantra Touring is expected in U.S. showrooms late this year, and may be unveiled at the 2008 New York Auto Show in March.

Under the hood is a 141-horsepower DOHC 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox.

Among the options are 17-inch wheels and leather upholstery. An iPod jack and a USB port are standard.

What this means to you: Hyundai continues to broaden its portfolio of products in North America. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
