    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California — Hyundai Motor America has announced that its new Elantra Touring wagon will begin arriving at U.S. dealers in the first quarter, with prices starting at $18,495.

    The Elantra Touring equipped with the Premium Sport package will be priced starting at $19,995. Pricing includes a $695 freight charge.

    Among the '09 Elantra Touring's standard features are electronic stability control, air-conditioning, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, heated mirrors and steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, plus a 172-watt audio system with XM Satellite Radio, CD/MP3 player, six speakers and a USB connection for your iPod.

    The Premium Sport package adds 215/45R17 tires on alloy wheels, a power tilt/slide sunroof and heated front seats.

    A DOHC 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual gearbox are standard. EPA ratings are 23 mpg in city driving and 31 mpg on the highway.
