DETROIT — Just one week prior to its official production debut, spy photographers happened upon a veritable fleet of 2009 Honda Pilot SUVs camped out in the Detroit area.
A rainbow of Pilots were on hand, allowing for good, clear shots of Honda's newly redesigned SUV.
Official specifications won't be released until April 15, but some details were announced at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show when the Honda Pilot prototype originally debuted.
Expect V6 power with the new version of the Variable Cylinder Management system that Honda introduced for the new Accord V6, and a 60/40-split third-row seat that Honda says now provides enough room for an "above-average-sized adult male."
