This is James Riswick for Inside Line and if you like small, sporty coupes, then you’ll want to check out our footage of the 2012 Honda Civic two-door.   Caught testing in Death Valley, California alongside the four-door sedan, the two-door Civic prototypes revealed a few noticeable design changes.   This Civic coupe looks longer and lower than the current model, with a steeply raked windshield. The C-pillars are less upright as well and the rear deck looks more like a hatchback.    The nose of the car appears to stick out just a little more than before and even the rear side windows are larger than the current model.  Closer inspection appears to suggest these are actually Civic Si prototypes as they were wearing the same low profile tires as the current Si along with rear disc brakes and some heavily bolstered seats.   We expect to see more of the 2012 Honda Civic very soon as production is expected to start early next year with a possible world debut at the LA Auto Show in November.    For Inside Line, I’m James Riswick.
