LOS ANGELES — Honda is giving away a striking $44,424 2010 Honda Civic Si customized by the band Paramore as part of this year's Honda Civic Tour.
The base 2010 Honda Civic Si starts at $22,765, including a $710 destination charge.
The one-of-a-kind Civic Si gets a matte orange, maroon and "slightly blonde" exterior featuring "waves reminiscent of lead singer Hayley Williams' flowing hair," said Honda in a statement touting the new sweepstakes. The car also wears an airbrushed Paramore logo surrounded by butterfly wings and lyrics from Paramore's new album Brand New Eyes.
Other details include 18-inch custom powder-coated matte black Lace wheels by Konig Wheels, Toyota Tires Proxes 4 tires, a Honda Factory Performance sport muffler, a lower front spoiler, larger side skirts, a lower rear spoiler and red LED taillights. The Civic Si was lowered 2 inches by KW Suspension/ST Suspension.
The cabin gets a wrapped steering wheel, shifter and e-brake handles "evoking Hayley's microphone stand and a collection of buttons on the sun visor much like those in Hayley's own car," said Honda.
Civic followers can enter to win the Honda by visiting the Honda Civic Tour Web site starting today. The grand prize winner also gets a $930 customized Speciale Fixed LTD Drop bicycle by Masi Bikes. The contest ends on October 31.
The Civic Tour kicks off on July 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina, with visits to 31 U.S. cities on tap. The 2010 tour features the headliner Paramore, as well as Tegan and Sara, New Found Glory and the Sri Lankan/Swedish group Kadawatha.

All that much for that crappy paint job w/stickers? For that I'll go to Scion and buy one of their "slow selling limited versions" for a whole lot less.

Lemme guess, still 197hp and -3lbs-tq?
add 20lbs of vomit-looking paint and you get a Civic Si that can do 0-60 in 8 seconds in the hands of the average deuche that buys one, and pass the 1/4mile in 16s...
But hey, why complain... they're giving it away!!!! finally! lol
I've been patiently waiting for the day they axe this damn car already... but my patience is running out ^.^

So I'd sell the bike to get a new paintjob: matte black.

Wow! This thing is a bigger (more overpriced) joke than the Mugen Si. The only thing more laughable is the editorial review process at Edmunds.

Toyota tires are the best tire choice for Hondas! Maybe that's the only way you can get the Civic to accelerate.

"What the hell? Who customizes a Civic and doesn't add heavy-artillery class fart-cans? It should be at least 8 inches in diameter. Geez."
It's cool, mang the stickers add at least 20hp each. Seriously though it will have a home with the wangs n' thangs crew and they'll make it their own.
