2008 Tokyo Auto Salon Preview: Honda Sport Modulo Civic Type-R

    0 Ratings
TOKYO — The upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon will feature its share of sexy hardware, not the least of which is the Honda Sport Modulo Civic Type-R.

While the details and images suggest the changes are mostly cosmetic, the final package still looks mighty impressive.

Modulo provides 19-inch alloy wheels, on which are mounted ultralow-profile 225/35R19 performance tires. The car features a lowered suspension, revised front and rear fascias, side skirts and a rear wing.

Inside, the concept car packs Recaro buckets, a sport steering wheel with integrated shift lights and carbon-fiber accents.

What this means to you: We hope the under-hood changes live up to the promise of the sexy exterior skin. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
