TORRANCE, California — Don't look for official images of the all-new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour before its official release on September 1 — unless you count the close-up of the midsize crossover's grille.
You can also check the company's Web site, which is teasing the launch date while sitting on the details.
The Accord Crosstour arrives at U.S. dealerships this fall. As its name implies, the new crossover is expected to share most major underbody components with the Accord sedan. The 2010 Crosstour hatch is aimed at such rivals as the Toyota Venza.
On the powertrain front, the 2010 Crosstour will likely offer Honda's 3.5-liter V6 and four-wheel drive. Prices will be announced later in the year.
Inside Line says: Details will be announced shortly. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
