- Holden Special Vehicles will launch a restyled version of its Grange for 2011.
- It gets the automaker's 436-horsepower 6.2-liter LS3 V8.
- The Grange WM3 goes on sale at the end of September.
MELBOURNE, Australia — General Motors' Australian performance-car arm, Holden Special Vehicles, will launch a restyled version of its Grange flagship as part of its list of model upgrades for 2011.
The Grange WM3 goes on sale at the end of September. It will be the second HSV model (following the GTS) to be powered by the company's 436-horsepower 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine. Maximum torque remains 406 pound-feet.
The upgraded HSV flagship features new front and rear styling, and for the first time will incorporate daytime running lamps. It also includes several new features including a touchscreen performance data interface, a side blind zone alert system and optional liquid propane injection, which lets the car use regular unleaded gasoline or LPG. HSV claims the technology provides improvements in running costs and emissions outputs — by up to 15 percent — without reducing power or torque.

davedutton12: Perhaps Suzuki, but Mits isn't going anywhere. The Eclipse is still the best selling coupe in the states, and the Lanser still sells in massive numbers.
This car may have been the next gen G8 GT if GM didn't kill the Pontiac brand.
I would love to see this as the next gen Impala, but that's just wishful thinking. Nice car either way, just too bad we won't see it state side.

Kind of looks like a Suzuki from the front. Lucky for us Suzuki, and Mitsubishi, wont be around too much longer.

If Fritz Henderson wasn't at Pontiac's funeral, we just might have it.
