SEALY, Texas — Hennessey Performance Engineering recently released the official brochure for its 2011 Venom GT along with details about new modifications for both the 2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo and 2010 Ford Raptor.
The Venom GT brochure gives potential buyers all the important details about the vehicle, like the fact that it weighs a mere 2,400 pounds and can top out at an insane 262 mph. BBC's Top Gear took some high-res photos of the vehicle for the brochure that are also published on the car's Web site.
HPE has also completed the first of its new upgrades for the 2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo: a cat-back exhaust system. It has a high-quality stainless-steel construction that gives the Porsche an extra 25 horsepower at the wheels and a distinctive exhaust note. Hennessey says it was designed "for those wanting a louder, throatier sound during spirited sprints and acceleration without a constant barrage of drone and resonance during average driving." Pricing begins at $4,750 for the exhaust, and you can listen to the HPE Panamera purr in the video below.
Hennessey has a full Panamera tune in the works as well that includes the exhaust, new turbo, upgraded computer, air induction system, wheels and suspension.
The Texas-based tuner just unveiled a new HPE air induction system for owners of the 2010 Ford Raptor, too. The truck sees an increase of 11 rear-wheel hp with the new bolt-on system, with no extra tuning required. HPE charges $395 for the intake, and you can check out a dyno of the upgraded truck here.
Inside Line says: Hennessey further hypes its new supercar as well as the latest modifications that have been in the works. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent

If i had 150k to spend on a sedan I'd probably buy a Taurus SHO (or something cheaper) and put a down-payment on a small airplane.

I'd suggest 5k for the Panamera to make it look like anything but a bathtub

When you have actually earned enough to have $150,000 of discrectionary funds available to buy a Panamera Turbo with CASH, then you can tell me how you feel about spending $5,000 on an exhaust that should cost no more than $1,500..... after and considerable mark up.
Able to afford? Aware of pirces?
LoL!
This isn't my first rodeo, kids. Been buying brand new high end cars and modifying them for decades.
The dreamers never realistically consider prices because they will never be actually pulling the money out of THEIR wallets for these purchases.
It's easy to justify costs when spending monopoly money in an imaginary world.
It's a LOT harder spending money after you know what it takes to EARN it and you know what the true costs and fair mark up are on these items.
Sorry to interrupt this regularly shceduled fantasy.

Yeah if you can afford a GTR or Panamera turbo, $5K is easily within one month's paycheck, that is of course if you're living a modest life and already have your priorities planned out.

@1krider1
Yeah, I'm sure you have the money for a Panamera Turbo if your scoffing at 5k for a catback exhaust.

If you're surprised at that price, you're probably not very familiar with part prices for high end cars.
An Amuse or ARC titanium catback for the R35 GT-R is around the $5-7K range.
The Cross titanium catback for my M3 is around $5K.
Even around $3K for an E63 AMG Eisenmann steel muffler only setup.
You could always get something like Borla or Magnaflow if the price is too high.

FIVE GRAND for a cat back exhaust ??????
LoL!
I plan to add either a Panamera Turbo or a GTR to my collection for a daily driver.
But, NOT until these ridiculous premiums are gone.
I would pay $5,000 for a PACKAGE consisting of FULL exhaust inluding headers, xpipe, high flow cats, and cat back if it was the HIGHEST of quality AND custom tuning on a dyno.
