    Just the Facts:
    • Roush unveils its 2011 Sport Mustang.
    • The Roush Sport Mustang doesn't include any engine mods.
    • The kit includes a variety of aero body components priced at $4,600.

LIVONIA, Michigan — Roush Performance continues to expand its pony-car stable with the addition of the 2011 Sport Mustang.

Unlike the supercharged Roush 5XR Mustang, the basic package on the Roush Sport Mustang doesn't include any engine mods.

Rather, Roush has bundled a variety of aero body components into a relatively affordable $4,600 kit that can be supplemented with individually priced performance hardware.

The Sport Mustang package includes a front fascia with driving lamps, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters, rear fascia and three-piece rear wing, as well as an upper billet grille.

Among the extra-cost options are an exhaust kit, lowering springs, sport brakes, sport leather seats, convertible light bar, performance pedals, white-face gauges, lower billet grille, rear quarter-window louvers and short-throw shifter with choice of shifter ball or billet knob.

Roush has always sold an appearance package, and they have been selling this one since 2010. Paul Lienert, needs to learn what he is talking about.

Doesn't seem to make sense, if you have a ROUSH product you do it for the performance upgades--NO ?? Maybe they are under pressure to sell a bunch of stuff because Roush Fenway may have to send a lot more bucks to the RED SOX  to help fund that signing of 2 ballplayers for 300 million !!!!
