LAS VEGAS — Ford is rounding up nine customized 2011 Mustangs, clad in everything from pink chrome to Funkmaster Flex logos, for a high-profile appearance at the 2010 SEMA Show. Also set to make an appearance is the 2012 Mustang Boss 302.

The Mustangs are noteworthy for the wide variety of themes they express, ranging from street warrior to breast-cancer awareness.

"If you're a Mustang enthusiast looking to set your Mustang apart from others, SEMA is like going into a toy store full of inspirational imagery," said Melvin Betancourt, Ford design manager.

One showstopper is a Mustang GT by Ford Vehicle Personalization that sports custom white tri-coat exterior paint with coral undertones. This Mustang also gets a rear pedestal spoiler, rear quarter-window louvers, side scoops and a billet grille, all covered in a concept liquid silver finish. In the cabin, coral accents spice up the steering wheel, gauge cluster, shifter knob and air vents. Coral accent lighting provides a finishing touch.

A Mustang GT convertible covered in pink chrome is the brainchild of Creations n' Chrome in partnership with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness about breast cancer. Other details include a Vortech supercharger, HRE performance wheels and Wilwood brakes.

The 2011 Ford Mustang by MRT opts for a street warrior theme with carbon "effects" throughout the interior and engine compartment. Other modifications include a chassis upgrade, performance handling package, upgraded Baer brakes and a new MRT stainless steel exhaust.

Team Baurtwell and celebrity customizer Funkmaster Flex team up on a 2011 Mustang designed for rapper Snoop Dogg. Exterior cues include custom smoked taillights, Funkmaster Flex logos and a 3dCarbon body kit.

A 2011 Ford Mustang by Tjin Edition gets a Webasto sunroof, Unique Fabrication metal wing, Ignited LED headlights and foglights and StreetGlow lighting. The suspension is modified with a full digital air suspension kit from Air Lift.

Street Scene Equipment turns out a 2011 Mustang with exterior tweaks that include a chin spoiler and lower valance grille. The cabin gets Katzkin leather and Polk audio amps.

A 2011 Mustang by Raceskinz gets new bucket seats in the rear, a ProCharger intercooled supercharger, a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust and a Baer brake system.

A 2011 Mustang by Mobsteel gets an STS Turbo patented remote mount turbo system, Air Runner suspension and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords give the 2011 Mustang a kick with a Ford Racing Performance Parts supercharger kit and exhaust system from Kooks Custom headers. It also gets a custom paint job, Roush fascia and Cervini's Auto Designs hood.

I love the way Ford improved the new Mustang. The 2011 is the best Mustang Ford has ever made.
