The base Stage 1 Mustang starts at $34,847. It is an appearance package that bundles a new front fascia and front splitter, rear fascia, side splitters and a three-piece rear wing. The Roush 2010 Stage 2 Mustang, which starts at $36,221, gets the same appearance package and adds a new suspension package.
Enthusiasts likely will be most drawn to the 427R Mustang, which gets a supercharger that boosts horsepower to 435. "This is the first time that Roush has been able to offer a supercharged vehicle at the launch of a new body style," the company said. The top-of-the-line Roush Mustang starts at $43,051.
All models get 18-inch cast chrome wheels with high-performance Cooper Zeon tires. A new 20-inch cast chrome wheel is optional. The Roush Mustangs are covered by a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
