IRVINE, Calif. — Saleen has rolled out the SA-25 Sterling Edition Mustang in time for the company's 25th anniversary.
The tuner says only 25 will be built with a price tag of $99,995 — but that includes the royal treatment for customers. Those who pop for the latest Saleen anniversary car get a first-class ticket to the Motor City, dinner with Saleen's top brass and a custom leather jacket, among other perks.
The SA-25 Sterling Edition Mustang is derived from the S302 Extreme and uses the same 620-horsepower supercharged V8. Exterior design cues include unique five-spoke forged wheels, "Gun Sight" racing stripes and anniversary fender badges. The cabin is decked out in Black Diamond Alcantara seats with leather touches, a navigation system and a push-button electric start.
