- 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid: Ford cancelled its plans for the larger Grand C-Max van and settled instead on hybrid versions of the standard, five-passenger C-Max. The C-Max Hybrid, and the plug-in hybrid C-Max Energi are slated to go on sale by the end of the year. The C-Max Hybrid will combine a 2.0-liter gas engine with an electric motor to deliver better fuel economy than the Prius V according to Ford. The C-Max Energi will use a similar drivetrain along with a rechargeable battery pack to push the van's electric range even farther.
Ford Transit
- 2014 Ford Transit: Ford is planning to replace the current Econoline vans with a version of its Transit commercial van sold worldwide. Production is now scheduled to begin in 2013 at Ford's truck plant in Kansas City. So far, Ford has announced the availability of its twin-turbo V6 and a diesel engine of unspecified displacement. Compared to the current E-Series vans, Ford officials say the new Transit will get roughly 25 percent better mileage.
Ford Edge
- 2014 Ford Edge: After a heavy refresh for the 2011 model year, were not expecting to see a fully redesigned Edge until sometime in 2013.
Ford Escape
- 2016 Ford Escape: After releasing a fully redesigned Escape for 2013, the next chance for a refresh isn't likely until the 2016 model year.
Ford Expedition
- 2013 Ford Expedition: Plans for a new or refreshed Expedition are pretty hazy at this point. Expect some kind of update by 2012, but it could be nothing more than a slight refresh while Ford figures out what to do with its full-size SUV lineup.
Ford Explorer
- 2014 Ford Explorer: With the recent redesign of the Explorer in 2011, the earliest refresh should appear around the 2014 Model Year.
Ford F-150
- 2013 Ford F-150: After the redesign in 2009, a revamped engine lineup was done for Model Year 2011. Expect a minor refresh for the 2013 model year that includes a new front fascia and upgraded interior.
Ford Fiesta
- 2013 Ford Fiesta: Ford has yet to confirm it, but a performance-oriented version of the Fiesta hatchback is likely to hit the market in late 2012. Spy photos reveal a modified Fiesta complete with low-profile tires, a front-mounted intercooler and dual exhaust tips. It's possible that it may be for the European market only, but the enthusiasm for the standard Fiesta should be enough to convince Ford of its prospects in the U.S.
Ford Flex
- 2014 Ford Flex: After a few minor upgrades in 2010 and 2011, the next refresh of the Ford Flex will probably come for the 2014 model year.
Ford Focus
- 2013 Ford Focus ST: Set to go on sale in 2012, this high-performance version of the Focus hatchback will offer a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder that develops 247 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque.
Ford Fusion
- 2013 Ford Fusion: An all-new, fully redesigned version of the Ford Fusion will arrive for the 2013 model year. It will offer three different four-cylinder engines along with two hybrid models. The new Fusion is slightly bigger than the current model, but is expected to return even better mileage.
Ford Mustang
- 2015 Ford Mustang: After a heavy refresh in 2011, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will arrive in the spring of 2014 in time for the car's 50th anniversary. The redesigned Mustang will get a much sleeker look as it will be offered in markets outside the U.S. for the first time. A new fully independent rear suspension will finally make its way underneath the Mustang along with a four-cylinder, turbocharged engine on base models. Larger displacement V8s will still be offered, however, along with ultra-high performance Shelby versions.
Ford Super Duty
- 2014 Ford Super Duty: After a redesign for 2011, don't expect to see any major changes on the Super Duty pickups until at least the 2014 model year.
Ford Taurus
- 2016 Ford Taurus: After a round of updates for the 2013 model year, the Ford Taurus isn't likely to see any major changes until 2015.

I am a ford fan and I love the 2010-2011 Ford Taurus. I think the 2012 Ford Taurus should come with standard intelligent access with push button start on all limited trims and also with L.E.D rear tail lamps and available HID headlights. Another great feature would be the easy access button on the door handles like the explore, focus, fiesta, and edge. And another suggestion would be different wheel selections on the limited and more for the SHO.

As a couple of others have mentioned, the small to midsize pickup segment seems like a missed opportunity for Ford. The newest models are from 2005, before gas prices escalated and the economy turned sour. They weren't designed for good fuel economy and low price. The current pickups in this segment (including the Tacoma and Frontier) offer marginal benefits over their fullsize brethren. So people spend a little more and sacrifice a couple mpg to get a more capable fullsize pickup, or they just don't get a pickup at all.
A $15-23k midsize pickup, that can approach 30 mpg, while still maintaining some utility, would sell quite well, IMO. Maybe that's a pipe dream though, I don't know.

Ford...PLEASE develop a RWD 4-door sedan for our market. There are many of us that would like to experience the greatness of your new 5.0, but can't justify having just two doors for our main vehicle. Let GM's F-up (we'll miss you G8) be your gain. Oh, don't forget the 6-speed manual either!

Ford has sure come along way in a short amount of time. It sucks to see the Ranger go. The current version could still be marketable with minor changes....including a single cab 6-speed manual 4X4 version. Even the new overseas market Ranger and especially the Mazda variant are both plausable in the U.S. If only Ford would agree

I'm proud of ford. I'm very happy for them!
For their Expedition, i'd like a couple changes.
The new F150's V6 should definitely be the standard engine with Ford's new 5L or 6.2L V8 as the option. I'd like an optional Diesel as well, especially if they decide to keep the EL model. Oh, and upgraded interior materials. Other than that, the Expedition is fine. The focus should be at least a +2 MPG improvement all around.
Everything else, i'm really just looking forward to!

Much credit is due to Mr. Mulally for the Ford turnaround. Mr Mulally was CEO for Commercial Aircraft at Boeing before Ford and I don't know where I read it, but supposedly he said something like:
" Why build a different Ford for every different market? When a Boeing 737 is made, it is basically the same no matter where in the world the customer is. Why not build cars the same way?"
Now, airplanes are customizable in many ways, but the airframe is still the same no matter if a US airline bought it, UK or UAE. Engines, fuel systems, etc. can be varied, but the basic plane is a 737.
I know he was a cost cutter and probably hated by many current and former employees at Ford, but look what his style and philosophy has produced. A solid car company with a great line-up that keeps getting better. The C-Max could be a worthy replacement to our Mazda 5

The BOSS 302 makes me think about trading in my Evo. Never would have thought that a Ford would make me think that way. Keep it up Ford.

@ralphhightower: the Transit is a full-size commercial van, not to be confused with the tiny Transit Connect that is already on sale in the US. Trust me, the full-size Transit will be abundantly powerful for its intended uses.
