Details include 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sport styling, Recaro sport seats, a sport steering wheel and upgraded instrumentation. Ford said new features include a "Ford Power" starter button and Easyfuel capless refueling system. The ST-2 trim level adds a Sony audio system, bi-xenon lights, LED rear lights and a Quickclear heated windshield. The ST-3 trim level adds an in-dash CD player plus full leather trim in the cabin.
The Focus ST gets the carryover 222-horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder Duratec engine. Ford said it has a top speed of 150 mph and sprints from zero to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
Pricing ranges from the equivalent of $35,925 to $41,040.
