NEW YORK — Rally driver extraordinaire Ken Block teams with Hot Wheels to create three new toys ahead of the holiday season, from a 1:64 die-cast model to a 1:16 radio-controlled stunt car.
On sale now at retailers from Walmart to Amazon, the Hot Wheels toys are "a dream come true," says Block. "When I was a kid, they were all I played with. I'd collect them, I'd jump them over things, I'd send them flying off of stuff, I'd race them around on the floor."
Kids, you can try some of those same stunts at home, starting with the 1:64 scale die-cast 2011 Ken Block Ford Fiesta Hot Wheels car, which retails for $1 and comes in either black or white.
Next up is the Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeders Ken Block Fiesta, an RC car and controller combination that is priced at $25.99.
Serious stuntmeisters should consider the remote-controlled 1:16 scale Hot Wheels RC Ken Block RC Stunt Car, which goes for $44.99 that includes two different drift modes and a simple one-touch control unit.
