Power and torque have increased for both engines, and engine refinement and fuel efficiency have both been boosted. The 4.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine has had its power increased by an impressive 54 hp, and torque is up by 11 pound-feet.
The Boss 315 V8 engine has benefited from a number of unique FPV engine upgrades and components, with the result that the car accelerates faster, while it still feels lighter and more powerful. A new Tremec six-speed manual transmission is another addition.
The F6, with 415 hp from the 4.0-liter turbo six, is priced at the equivalent of U.S. $62,850. The V8 GT costs the same amount, and the premium GT-P model is priced at $72,350. The top-level GT E luxury performance model — an all-new offering — with an upgraded 5.4-liter Boss V8 engine mated to a ZF six-speed automatic with sequential sport shift, is priced at $73,310.
