CHICAGO — Expect the 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 to rock the world of bikers attending the 2009 Chicago Auto Show.
Details on the 2010 Harley-Davidson F-150 — the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck — include a sport suspension and standard 22-inch polished forged aluminum wheels. But some of the more intriguing elements can be found in the cabin, where Ford said it took pains to pattern the seats after a Harley biker jacket. "We even used authentic materials you'd find on Harley-Davidson apparel," said Patrick Schiavone, design director on the truck.
The seatbacks are wrapped in leather, with engraved Harley-Davidson button snaps and zippered map pockets featuring zippers from Harley jackets.
Under the hood is a 5.4-liter three-valve engine rated at 320 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a sport-tuned exhaust.
Pricing has not yet been announced.
