- Raptor SuperCrew comes with a 5.5-foot box.
DEARBORN, Michigan — Ford is adding a SuperCrew edition of its F-150 SVT Raptor super truck for model year 2011. A 411-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 is the standard engine in the 2011 Raptor, which Ford bills as its "high-speed off-road performance truck." Ford dealers have started taking orders, with the first 2011 Raptor deliveries slated for later this year.
The new F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew is built on a 145-inch wheelbase — a foot longer than the SVT Raptor SuperCab. The Raptor SuperCrew comes with a 5.5-foot box, a larger 36-gallon fuel tank and increased towing capacity of 8,000 pounds.
New for 2011 is a Raptor Plus package that bundles a rearview camera and a trailer brake controller. The Raptor Luxury package adds folding power exterior mirrors and remote start for 2011.
Among the new standard features for 2011 on both Raptor models are a telescoping steering wheel, perimeter alarm, integrated spotter mirror, one-touch up/down driver and passenger front windows, 110-volt power inverter in the center console and a head restraint for the second-row middle seat.
Ingot Silver Metallic is a new exterior paint choice.

I have been paying attention to this model from Ford for quite some time and after this crew cab version, it just makes me wonder if the Design and Management team at Ford was closing trying to fill a void of the Hummer H2T. Look, this truck has attitude, a powerful engine (no more high gas prices! perfect timing) and a company that is still in business!
Finally Ford understood that making a luxury vehicle out of the F series and badging it as Lincoln is not going to go anywhere.

You could tote four on the standard as well, 2 more doors just makes it easier, and with Ingot Silver, the SuperCrew eliminates my last excuses for not getting one...

Now you can comfortably tote around not one, not two, not even three, but four; yes four! of your freeloading friends in your brand-new look-at-me-mobile!
