SEALY, Texas — You knew someone would apply the VelociRaptor moniker to Ford's 2011 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew performance truck. That someone is Hennessey Performance of Texas, which has turned the long-wheelbase Ford into an armored-protection vehicle that will be available as a 2012 model.
Details are sparse on the armored VelociRaptor so far, but Hennessey says it will offer "the ultimate combination of armor protection, vehicle performance, passenger comfort and safety" for on- and off-road purposes.
It's powered by a supercharged version of the Ford Raptor's 6.2-liter V8, tweaked to make a capable 575 horsepower. A non-armored version is also planned.
The VelociRaptor is the work of Hennessey's Armored Performance Vehicles division, which also offers armored, performance-enhanced versions of such big vehicles as the Cadillac Escalade, the Chevrolet Suburban and the Toyota Land Cruiser. It will seat six, seven or eight people and will be available with satellite TV, high-speed Internet, entertainment and mobile office options.

This means WAR! I'm quite sure that the War Wagon will carry "Pentagon pricing" as well.
