DETROIT — Fisker Automotive plans to display not one, but two vehicles at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show: the production version of the Fisker Karma and a concept companion called the Sunset, or Karma S for short.
Fisker hasn't released many details on the Karma S, other than that it will share its 408-horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain with the standard Karma.
A teaser image of the Karma S shows the name Sunset on the car's flanks but doesn't provide a clue as to whether it's a convertible or another hardtop. Stay tuned.
Inside Line says: This year's Detroit show may set some kind of record for most production and concept electric vehicles under one roof. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
