    Fiat 500
    • 2013 Fiat 500 EV: The oft-rumored all-electric version of the 500 should come to market in 2012. Not a lot is known about this vehicle except that its lithium ion battery pack, supplied by a Samsung/Bosch joint venture, accounts for half of the $32,000 cost.
    • 2014 Fiat 500 L: First shown at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, the Fiat 500 L is a slightly larger, four-door version of the standard 500 coupe. The 500 L is nearly 3 inches longer than the 500 and is built on a different platform that is wider as well. Sales in the U.S. are expected to start in early 2013.

Fiat is going to do the same to Chrysler as Mercedes...  This is DaimlerChrysler all over again but with Italian capitalists with a worse reputations in the states than the Germans.  This should've been a STRICT captive import.  They should be calling it the Chrysler Cinquecento (or whatever the correct spelling is).  Fiat still is known for the X1/9 here in the states; not the greatest vehicle to be known for.  We'll take the Alfas, but anything else ought to be strict rebadges popped into the Chrysler & Dodge line...  Or better yet!  Bring back the Plymouth brand and have it be a classy-ish youth oriented brand and/or hybrid (eventually EV).  Bring back the Diamond Star Treaty with Mitsubishi and infiltrate their contracts with Proton of Malaysia.  BOOM, disgustingly cheap small cars ready for the polishing and safety feature implementation--all with styles Americans (especially the youth) would spin their heads over.

Let's hope they offer the "Esse esse" package here as well. 160 bhp!
