AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The Fiat SEMA Design Challenge asks participants to create a vehicle wrap for the Fiat 500 in time for the 2011 SEMA Show.

It's an unusual way to get your foot in the aftermarket trade show, since the top three winning designs will be wrapped live within the Mopar Alley at SEMA.

Participants can download a vehicle wrap template of the Fiat 500 on the Fiat Facebook page. Design Challenge contestants have until October 5 to upload their design submissions. The top 10 designs will be shown on the Fiat Facebook page where fans can vote for their favorite designs. The top three will be featured at SEMA.

"Our new Fiat 500 is the perfect canvas for customization," said Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar.

The winners of the contest will be announced on October 19. You must be 18 to enter.

Inside Line says: Have some fun with this contest that could win you some unusual access to the 2011 SEMA Show.
