Ferrari: What's New for 2011

What's New for Ferrari in 2011

    2 Ratings

2011 Ferrari 458 Italia: All new in 2010, the 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia receives no significant changes in its second year on the market. We expect to see an open-top "Spider" version of the 458 in early 2011. A track-ready 458 Challenge car was unveiled earlier this year, so a street-legal 458 Challenge Stradale will most likely arrive at some point in late 2011.

2011 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano: An open-top version of the Ferrari 599 dubbed the SA Aperta was introduced at the 2010 Paris Auto Show. A limited-edition open-top model, the SA Aperta was designed to commemorate Pininfarina's 80th birthday. Hence, only 80 will be sold and Ferrari said all were spoken for before the car was even unveiled.

2011 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti: The big Ferrari flagship soldiers on for another year with no significant changes. A replacement isn't expected until 2012, so don't expect to see much news on this car for awhile.

2011 Ferrari California: A new system dubbed HELE, for High Emotion Low Emissions, has been added to the California in an attempt to reduce its emissions without sacrificing performance. The system consists of a start/stop feature, a variable fuel pump, intelligent engine fan control and an adaptive transmission that will optimize shifts during city driving to improve mileage.

The yellow arrow is pointing to the tow hook. In the event a safety crew has to quickly yank the car from a ditch, the yellow arrow makes it easy to find the best place to connect the strap. It's a pretty standard presence on cars in sanctioned racing events.

The arrow is pointing at either the pull switch for a fire extinguisher (in case there is a fire with these ones too LOL) even though engine is "towards" the back. or its a lift bar for that DUMPED A$% RIDE! SEXY!!! I want the Scuderia version, EVEN SEEEEXXXIIIIEEERRR!!!!, who cares if they flame on right? Sorry Bullheads, I'd take a Ferrari over a lambo any day.
