The F2008 will be presented on January 6 at the team's Fiorano test track in northern Italy.
In stark contrast, McLaren-Mercedes — the team that was kicked out of the constructor's championship battle after it was found to be in possession of technical data belonging to Ferrari — will have no formal celebratory launch of its MP4-23 but instead will reveal the car when it goes on track for shakedown testing in Jerez, Spain, in the second week of January.
Toyota, which had originally looked set to be first to present its 2008 car, will launch the TF108 in Cologne, Germany, on January 10. Next to unveil its new car will be BMW Sauber, on January 14 in Munich.
Other teams that have confirmed debuts are Honda, January 29 at the team's headquarters in Brackley, England, and Renault, January 31 at corporate headquarters in Paris.
What this means to you: The whole world will be seeing red as the scarlet cars debut — just as Ferrari and McLaren have been since the start of the spy scandal. — David Green, Correspondent
