STETTEN, Germany — As the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti enters its final year of production, German tuning specialist Novitec Rosso is offering a package of upgrades for the long-lived 2+2, including a power bump and a set of larger wheels and tires.
Novitec Rosso has reprogrammed the engine control unit on the Ferrari 5.7-liter V12 and has fitted a stainless-steel performance exhaust system with quad tailpipes. The combination helps boost output to 558 horsepower and torque to 449 pound-feet. The tuner says zero-to-60-mph acceleration is achieved in less than 3.9 seconds, with top speed peaking at 202 mph.
The company also swaps out the 19-inch factory wheels for a custom set of three-piece NF3 alloy rims, featuring five double spokes and polished outer flanges. The new wheels are shod with Pirelli P Zero performance tires — 275/30ZR20 front and 355/25ZR21 rear.
The only other significant exterior enhancement is a set of black taillamps, reflectors and side markers.
Novitec Rosso offers a wide range of interior upgrades, including a flat-bottomed sport steering wheel that can be ordered in the customer's choice of color, material and rim thickness. Seats are custom-tailored to each customer's body measurements.
