The HGTE package includes handling, performance and aesthetic modifications with two different prices, depending on when the vehicle was manufactured.
Handling upgrades include a 0.4-inch drop, more rigid springs and antiroll bars, three-piece lightweight dub wheels and stickier Pirelli P Zero tires in 245/45 in the front and 305/35 in back. Ferrari also gives the flagship two-seater new exhaust silencers, quicker gearshift actuation, a refreshed front grille design and chromed-out Prancing Horse logos.
The kit is priced at $28,100 for 599s built before 2008. Owners who purchased the vehicle from the 2008 model year and on will pay $32,300 for the package.
