- Supercar adventure company offers a menu of Ferrari driving junkets.
- Tours range from 5 hours to six days, and offer driving on racetracks and public roads.
- The least expensive tour starts at $1,990 and offers a 150-mile drive.
WILMINGTON, Delaware — Tourism and Ferraris meet in a new private venture firm that offers a menu of driving junkets for personal or business groups. DrivingXllence (DXL) will offer driving experiences in the U.S. and Europe during 2011.
The company's Web site lays out the specifics, starting with the 4-hour Epic Drive that lets you drive the 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano, California and F430 on "150 miles of open road." That one starts at $1,990, but the co-driver/passenger can come at no extra charge. There are 14 points of departure, among them Beverly Hills or Palm Springs, California; Miami; Atlanta and Dallas.
The $2,950 "Adrenaline Nights" experience is limited to the 458 Italia, F430 and 430 Scuderia, but lets you drive them on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The company even specifies that you'll get 10 laps in the 458 and 15 each in the 430 Scuderia and standard F430. Guests with strong stomachs may attend at no extra charge. As the name suggests, this 5-hour event takes place after dark under the lights.
The top-end Prestige Adventure program includes up to six days and up to 900 miles of driving. The list of locales is filled with evocative names including the Grand Prix of Monaco, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Nurburgring, Spa, the Canadian Grand Prix and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Vehicle fleets vary depending on location, but as an example, the Monaco fleet will include the Ferrari Enzo, 458 Italia, 599 GTB, California, 612 Scaglietti, Superamerica and 430 Scuderia Spider. That trip costs $25,000 plus airfare but includes VIP tickets to the Grand Prix; the Pebble Beach four-day trip is priced at a more sober $12,500 per couple.

DrivingXllence is incredible! Nothing like it that I've seen - all new, low mileage Ferraris - total luxury experience - smaller groups with much more seat time - they know how to make a flawless event.
I'd be willing to bet that if you called them and asked them to do an event down here in Atlanta they would be willing.
@estermayson - the CEO of DrivingXllence was also the CEO and founder of WCD - he started the new company and has really improved on his formlua. Check it out!
