DETROIT — The new car won't be unwrapped until April, but Chrysler has revealed the redesigned logo for the 2013 SRT Viper.
Designed by 20-something Vince Galante and dubbed "Stryker," the new logo is only the third since Viper was launched in 1991 as a 1992 model, following earlier logos "Sneaky Pete" and "Fangs."
Chrysler said the logo was named at the 2010 Viper Owners Invitational in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The redesigned 2013 Viper will be formally introduced in April at the 2012 New York Auto Show and goes on sale late this year.
In late January, Chrysler released the first teaser image of the car, which sheds the Dodge brand in favor of SRT.
Inside Line says: In the run-up to launch, Chrysler clearly is having some fun with the new Viper.

Oh wikiwiki, always glad to see your troll and thoughtfully provoking comments.
run_and_drive, how many people outside of the Viper community know the names of the Viper logos? And do we add this to the list of video games and tv shows that are destroying future generations?
Seriously people, it's a logo. Friggin drink some coffee and calm the f down!

I'm sure a few short of their manhood will swap their Porsches for it.
You're 40 plus, you're starting to go bald, and you can't satisfy anything that resembles a woman. Hey I know, go buy a Stryker, Striker, Viper, now back to you Porsche!!!

The MINI is just as gimmicky, MINI just employs different gimmicks.
Plus, MINI is much worse in terms of usability and ergonomics.
