LAS VEGAS — The Mopar Dodge Ram Bianco, which makes its debut shortly at SEMA, is no Power Wagon. Sure, it's got a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 under the hood, plus fat 22-inch wheels and tires bulging from the fenders. But the Ram Bianco (Italian for white) is one cool customer, underscored by its Arctic Ice pearl paint job.
Mopar started with a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport but didn't tear the vehicle apart so much as dress it up for the prom. Mopar added flared fenders, a hard tonneau and an aero body kit, then lowered the vehicle to give it a very uptown look. You'll even find a plush, washable Mopar "bed rug" under the tonneau.
Performance upgrades appear to be limited to a Mopar dual exhaust system and cold-air intake.
Inside the cockpit, you'll find black-and-white Katzkin seats with matching door trim, plus Piano Black and Arctic Ice accents. There is also a Kicker audio system, including amp, subwoofer and upgraded speakers.
Inside Line says: Pretty low-key, SEMA or no SEMA. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
