LAS VEGAS — Dodge, in cooperation with Chrysler's Mopar parts unit, is showcasing three special editions of the 2010 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty pickup at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show.
The Chromed Ram is based on a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Crew Cab 4x4, kitted out with more than $5,300 in accessories and fitted with a 350-horsepower 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel. Among the accessories are a Mopar 2-inch lift kit, 35-inch tires, chromed tube steps, chromed door sill guards, chromed tailgate bezel, chromed fuel door, chromed exhaust tip, hard tonneau cover, rear-seat entertainment system and Mopar/Katzkin leather upholstery and trim.
The Ultimate Tow Machine starts life as a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Heavy Duty Mega Cab 4x4 in Laramie trim, with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel. Among the nearly $2,000 in goodies are a gooseneck hitch, running boards, retractable bed step, heavy-duty splash guards, slush mats and UConnect Internet.
The Work Truck is based on a 2010 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty ST 4x2, equipped with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and nearly $2,000 in Mopar accessories, including a utility rail system, diamond-plated sliding toolbox, drop-in bed liner, tubular side steps, stake tie-downs, retractable bed step and slush mats.
