The small-car performance market continues to expand, yet it is still ruled by the import automakers (with Honda holding a clear advantage over the rest). Dodge would like a piece of the action, and the Neon SRT is the company's latest volley into this segment. Sporting a supercharged 2.0-liter, SOHC four-cylinder engine, the SRT possesses 208 horsepower and 180 ft-lbs. of torque. An ACR five-speed manual transmission and Torsen limited-slip differential deliver power to the 17-inch TSW alloy wheels.
In addition to the mechanical upgrades, the SRT uses a combination of unique interior and exterior treatments. Agate leather with Lapis Blue inserts cover the Momo Street Racer seats while a four-spoke steering wheel, brushed aluminum trim pieces and special gauges dress up the cockpit. Outside, a custom front fascia and rear wing work with the lowered suspension to give those modified Civics and Integras fair warning.
