The Murano received four-star ratings in a frontal crash and five-star ratings for side-impact protection. The front-wheel-drive Murano's chance of a rollover is rated at 17 percent.
The Dodge Journey gets standard side curtain airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability control and traction control.
