AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — A couple who rhapsodized about building snow forts in a 2009 Dodge Journey are the winners of the Dodge "Journey of a Lifetime" contest. The two will be married on the floor of the 2008 Chicago Auto Show on Valentine's Day as part of their prize package.
The winners, Blake Humphrey and Jackie Rohner of Rock Island, Illinois, apparently won over Dodge judges by writing a winning essay about their favorite activities, which include "tackling every water slide and coaster we can get to." The couple also said they like to build "snow forts."
The winning package includes a 2009 Dodge Journey and an auto show wedding that bundles such amenities as "a live Journey cover band." No word yet on whether Dodge will be providing inner tubes to members of the wedding party.
