Chrysler is frantically trying to revamp its lineup and the 2011 Dodge Charger will be one of its more interesting overhauls. This prototype was spotted testing in Michigan recently and it reveals a few of the car’s upcoming changes. Even with heavy camouflage, it’s clear that this Charger will have a longer, more fluid shape than the current model. Both the front and rear ends looked to have been reworked along with the shape of the C-pillar. Together they give this sedan a look similar to the Charger concept that debuted a decade ago. More big changes are on the way for the Charger’s interior. A quick look inside one of the prototypes revealed a more upscale design and what look to be higher quality materials. Chrysler’s new Phoenix V6 will provide the power on base Chargers while the top-of-the-line SRT versions are expected to get a 6.4-liter V8. Look for an official introduction of the 2011 Dodge Charger later this year.
