Very hot looking car but the reports say Mustang #1, Camaro #2 and Challenger a very distant #3. Big hp, highly priced, they say the weight really effects the fuel consumption, and the guzzler tax may be why only the rich can buy them for a toy! $45,000, gulp ! ! !

Colorado1974- What part of Anita's remarks show any biased toward Chrystler/Dodge?
For a long time their products have been less then average, and according to Consumer Reports and JD Power, they still are unreliable.
Yes, they have improved vastly over the last year, but one or two years is nowhere near long enough to assume they have the public's best interest at heart. I love the look of the Challenger, and the new Charger, and even the mid year refresh for the 300 and new 200 are vast improvments. However, despite the new Pentastar V6 improving quality and MPG, they still need something that speaks to those wanting performance without sacrificing the air they breath. I live in Los Angeles county where just stepping outside means good luck finding fresh air. Perhaps they should take a page out of Mazda's book and develope a combustion hydrogen engine, that performs, looks good, and is environmentally friendly.
Chrystler is definitely headed in the right direction, but Ford and even GM are still 3 steps a head.

Nice to see them upping the power, but they still weigh too much, and they're still too expensive.

@ns5
Crossfire is a rebadged M-B, so if it is not a good one then blame M-B not Chrysler. Window switches and regulator is probably the most common replaced part in all vehicles, beleive me I see it everyday I work for an Auto Group Wholesale Parts department (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, GM, Chevrolet,Pontiac, Olds, Honda, Toyota, Scion). Thank Chrysler for providing replacement parts for their vehicle at very affordable prices compared to all the other lines I listed. Chrysler needs a break from consumers (such as yourself) and what better time then now when their vehicle line-up is better then ever and moving forward, as opposed to our Jap friends like Honda and Toyota.

Yeah, we're not gonna see even the slightest amount of bias from someone named after a Chrysler model (Not a particularly good one, either).
My brother has had a Caliber RT for over 5 years now. Been in the shop way too many times a year for a newer car.
My mom has a Grand Caravan. The passenger window switch decided not to work a few days ago. Thank God it was closed when it broke. Same goes for the driver side ceiling light. Ridiculous for something that's barely used breaks under use anyway, especially considering both of these cars are either 2006 or 2007 model year.
Both of these, coupled with incidents with my oldest brother's Sebring, have pushed me away from Chrysler products.
Chrysler is nowhere near back if it keeps up the horrible quality the brand is notorious for.

I saw nothing wrong with Anita's comment. I thought it was a positive one. It was no secret that Chrysler was in a ditch and suffering from poor, well, everything. Her comment, if true, means that Chrysler is heading in the right direction for a change. Chrysler's "new products" might be "new" but they need to prove themselves in order to justify the price increase, regardless if the economy is recovering. Time will tell...

With vastly improved interiors and competitve engines, I think their confidence might be well-founded.
