Until that point, Devon Motorworks is only providing computer-generated renderings. Devon Motorworks is the serious sole bidder for Chrysler's Viper brand, offering a lowball figure of $5.5 million. Speculation is that the Viper purchase could allow Devon Motorworks to base the supercar around the Viper platform.
In the meantime, the company is being stingy with details on the GTX, such as technical specifications — presumably because it doesn't yet know what the donor car will be.
In a statement, Devon Motorworks says the GTX is influenced by the creations of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a pioneer of modern architecture who was famous for his dictum "less is more" and philosophy of a "skin and bones" approach to design. "Among the most striking visible features are wheel surrounds over both the front and rear wheels which are a different color to the rest of the body," said Devon Motorworks in a statement.
Daniel Paulin's previous work includes the Ford Focus C-Max.
