SEOUL, South Korea — General Motors said its GM Daewoo subsidiary in Korea is recalling more than 58,000 vehicles, including the Winstorm crossover and the Lacetti Premier sedan, to correct possible defects.
The Winstorm is a sibling to the Saturn Vue and is sold in export markets as the Chevrolet Captiva and Opel Antara. The recall covers 45,957 Winstorm and Winstorm Maxx models built in 2006-'07 that may have a defective steering system.
GM Daewoo also is recalling 12,604 units of the Lacetti Premier, which is sold in some overseas markets as the Chevrolet Cruze, to check for defective fuel hoses. The affected models were built from 2009-'10.
