GENEVA0 — The Dacia Lodgy, an MPV for European buyers, will make its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. Renault's Dacia brand is not sold in the U.S.
The unusual name is derived from the word "lodge" and "refers to the model's ability to comfortably accommodate a family and its luggage," said Dacia in a statement on Thursday.
Few details were made available about the Lodgy, except that it will be available as a five- or seven-seater and that it is about 15 feet long.
While pricing has not been announced, Dacia said the Lodgy is targeted at families who typically buy used cars. It will have a three-year warranty.
The Lodgy appears to be a sibling of the Renault Grand Scenic.
Inside Line says: You'll have to admire this MPV with the tongue-twister name from afar.

@Inside Line,
"Admire" is not a word I would associate with this Romanian POS, but I suspect you were being sarcastic.
