AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — No, it's not a new collaboration between Chrysler and Audi. Chrysler apparently is borrowing some nomenclature from the German automaker as it rolls out the 2010 Chrysler 300 S6 and 300 S8.
The two are appearance packages that denote whether the sedan has a 3.5-liter V6 engine or a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine. Pricing has not yet been announced. The two models are due to arrive in showrooms in the spring.
The most notable feature on both is a blacked-out grille. Other details include 20-inch polished wheels, chromed door handles and belt molding.
The cabins get a unique steering wheel with carbon weave and brushed silver spokes. Dark Slate Gray leather front seats, brushed aluminum accents and a 13-speaker Kicker audio system round out the package.
The Chrysler 300 S6 and S8 models have a performance-tuned suspension with performance shocks, all-season performance Goodyear Eagle RSA tires and performance brake linings.

The 300 is one of the best looking cars chrysler has ever created..proportions of the car say all the right things. Yet every time chrysler makes a good looking vehical they cant duplicate it when they try to "improve" their vehicals..leave it alone, it is truely timeless. If you want to change something, stop changing things b/c your engineers are bored.

The original 300C was beautiful and rich looking. Every change they've made since then has only cheapened the car. sad.

speedrcr, what's wrong with chrysler's interior? I chose my 300c over a Cadilac CTS and a lot of the reason behind that was because I like the interior of a 300c much better. I think it's beautiful and roomy

My number one reason for not buying a Chrysler is Chrysler.

I think Hyundai Revamped its whole line of cars twice while this car looked the same.

So this c300 is now looking tired...although i am not a Chrysler lover i have seen some killer designs for a new 2012 c300..... i would break down and buy one.

They should have posted the pictures of the black version of this model for it is still a stunning design. I don't know how much of this is emulating the Germans especially since much of the newest Merc surface treatment is making their cars look like overpriced Chrysler Sebrings....what's up with all the tortured metal Mercedes? All it does is give your cars a very short shelf life, whereas the slab-sided Chrysler 300 will look good years after the fussy design of the Mercedes goes out of fashion. But then you've been chasing the Bangle BMWs for awhile now. Put a mid-60's Merc next to a 300 and you will see that both are good examples of how timeless great design can be without resorting to putting 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo creases all over your car.

This is basically the old SRT Design with a new name and a new grill. No Chromed door handles or belt molding by the look of the pictures by the way.

As much as it kills me to say this...Anything less than 20 inch rims on the 300 just looks wrong, so this doesn't look bad. I've always been a fan of the blacked out grills and light bezels but in this color it looks more like a storm-trooper than an Audi.
