2008 Detroit Auto Show: Chrysler 300 "Hollywood"

DETROIT — Mopar Underground says it modified the Chrysler 300 Hollywood into a car that appeals to a "hip-hop crew as well as a classic-car enthusiast." Making its debut at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, the custom car captures the style of vehicles from the 1920s, with the addition of some modern-day goodies.

The Hollywood's wheelbase was stretched 18 inches to give the 300 a more limousine-like look and feel. Mopar Underground only chopped off the roof of the front half of the vehicle, differentiating it from the sexy rear-convertible Maybach Landaulet, which is also on display in Detroit. The Hollywood has an enclosed rear cabin accessed by suicide doors, and blinding 22-inch chrome wheels by Super Alloy that accent the polished door handles and mirrors.

Cabin details include supple saffron leather as well as three "bottle" holders big enough to carry champagne, and two 15.4-inch LCD screens for entertainment.
