I'll bet Chrysler is gearing up to make a major pitch for the tuners to use the 200 at this years SEMA.  If the tuners can make something out of it, it will help distance the 200 from the Sebring lineage.

Why everybody is making such great comments, a standard 200 should look like this maybe just different wheels. From the beginning this car looked dated it  is of one of the only cars that needed a face lift before going out to the market

Chrysler felt way behind its competitors and now they are trying to close the gap-- trying because ford, gm and Hyundai are making even bigger steps. Only a full redesign will make this a real competitor of the Malibu, Fusion and Sonata.

The same happens with the T&C minivan, it has improved a lot but Honda and Toyota have improved even more only a full redesign will put them on par with its competition.

Appreciate what they're trying to do with a limited toolbox but the core car is still a last-gen Sebring with lots of lipstick.  Drove a high-spec 200 rental w/the 6 and it was a terrible car to drive- transmission had no idea when to shift or why; seating was uncomfortable, fuel economy was miserable.   Traded it back in on a previous-generation Focus and was much happier- while an economy car it was simpler but honest and competent.   The 200 replacement needs to be accelerated big time!

I never would have thought the 200 could be made to look so good. Now, what have they done to improve the interior?

I think that if they were to put the AWD system from the 300 in here and a turbo V6, with about 325 hp, they could sell it as an SRT6.  It's a great looking car and people may want an AWD SRT.  And $30K would sound better than a $50K SRT8.

Good looking car, I hope Chrysler doesn't burden this vehicle with gas sucking 6 or 8, and 500lbs of excess weight. A modern four cylinder 2.0-2.4 liter, gas or diesel turbo, would be just right for these wheels.

Looks pretty good, give it the power to back up the looks.
