    Just the Facts:
    • Chrysler confirmed on Friday that the 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible will make its world debut on February 9 at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show.
    • It will be somewhat of an automotive anti-climax, since Chrysler has already released such critical details as photos and pricing.
    • The successor to the midsize Sebring convertible had been expected to debut at the Geneva auto show.

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible will make its world debut at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show on February 9, the automaker confirmed on Friday. The debut is about a month earlier than anticipated, since the successor to the midsize Sebring convertible had been expected to debut at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show.

The reveal of the Chrysler 200 Convertible will be somewhat of an automotive anti-climax since virtually all the details about the car, including photos, were released last week

The new convertible arrives this spring at U.S. Chrysler dealers, priced from $27,195 for the base 200 Convertible Touring model and $31,990 for the 200 Convertible Limited. A third variant, the 200 Convertible S, will be priced when it arrives later in the model year.

The Chrysler 200 Convertible features new sheet metal, upgraded suspension, revised interior and the availability of the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 and six-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a six-speed transmission.

I doubt rental car fleets will be replacing their Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan, and Suzuki brands.  This car actually looks better than anything offered from any of those companies.

Yippee!  Another car for America's rental fleets!

This'll be good for GTA V, no need to change much to make it in the game. I'm looking forward to a replacement.

How is that a nice convertible that can whitstand the abuse of being a rental car is a bad thing.  The Sebring/200 has been one of the top 5 convertible sellers for a few years now.

Now being the only non-luxury convertible that can be had with a hardtop, the addition of the Pentastar and 6 speed auto plus the new styling and interior can only make it better.

This is a win for Chrysler/Fiat.

If read this correctly, the base model will be available with a 6-speed (manual) transmission???
